Slacking

Not too many people check this blog, but those who do may have been wondering why I haven't been posting so much lately. Well, I suppose it's about time to tell you that I'm . . . pregnant! Yes, baby number four is due to arrive early this fall. And, yes - I'm feeling pretty lousy. My husband says that I'm "out of it." I suppose that about sums it up.
Constant nausea for me means too much TV/movies for my children and everyone wondering what's for dinner. For some reason, I can get the laundry washed, I just haven't been able to fold and put it away. I now truly have a mountain of clean laundry in my bedroom. I suppose that'll be our closet for awhile.
And, my brain is somewhat inaccessable right now, so it's a bit more difficult to come up with something to blog about. However, I will try to leave you with something funny:

My second daughter has taken to the habit of shouting out the words "ice" and "beans" quite frequently and for no apparent reason. I suppose she likes the sound of them. Anyway, the baby who is barely talking has begun copying his sister. He is often heard in his crib quitely cooing "ice, beans."

  3. Congratulations again. I will be praying for you and your family. My car is not big enough to fit all of our carseats, but I would love it for you to drop your kids off at my house for a couple of hours so you can rest or get things done. I will call you soon. Awesome story!!

  4. Hooray! This spinning plate demands your attention, so you've got to let some of the others fall. Aren't the beauties ready to learn to fold laundry? And make mac 'n' cheese? Lots of couch time for reading lovely books together, though!

  5. Yes, Paula - lots and lots of couch time :)
And, yes - the little ones should be helping Mommy fold laundry. They've been good little helpers by keeping their room neat and emptying the dishwasher for me.
As for Mac-n-cheese, I went to costco last week to get another 'truckload' of our favorite Annie's shells and white chedder - and they didn't have it!!! I had to pay $2.15 per box at the Health food store for it. Bummer.

  9. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Behold, Children are a heritage from the LORD. The fruit of the womb is a reward. Psalm 127:3

Sorry that you aren't feeling well, but this too shall pass. Enjoy this time of wonder.

Maybe you can catch up on some reading. Have you read Children of the Promise? It's easy reading, and I think that you would enjoy it from what I have read on your blog. I LOVE reading about covenant theology.
